She was raised on a dairy farm at the end of Clarence Avenue in Fort Garry and attended Grandin School on Pembina Highway. She and Gerard were married on April 26, 1941. Marjorie was a diligent worker and made many sacrifices to raise her children and provide for them as best she could. The first time i saw my husbands auntie Marge i was astonished by her beauty. She had beautiful black hair , so black it looked cobalt blue. She was always so devoted to her mother and siblings. Everyone always said how hard she worked, she adored her children. We were shocked to hear her beautiful daughter had passed. That must have broken her heart. I can't even imagine how this impacted her life. i was amazed by her beautiful daughter when I met Judy, when I borrowed her my yellow gown for her graduation. She was so beautiful, just like her mother. Marge was always so kind to her nephew Grant. She taught everyone in my family how to drive. I will never forget her most important rule to remember "Always follow your first instinct." She was an amazing women. - Posted by: marianne valerie humphreys (relative) on: Jun 25, 2026
